Ajayi Joshua Oluwatobi is a widely creative and astute entrepreneur, he is the Founder of Nord Automobiles Limited, one of the first truly Nigerian automobile brands and co-founder of Jetvan Automobiles Limited, an authorized dealer of Mercedes-Benz Sprinter in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He is a respected authority in the automobile industry in Nigeria.
He started his career at Mercedes-Benz Nigeria growing very fast to become the head of division (vans) at twenty-four; he developed strategies to increase the market share of Mercedes-Benz vans in Nigeria and was successful.
In late 2014 to 2015, after few years with Mercedes-Benz Nigeria, he met some investors who co-founded Jetvan with him. Oluwatobi is among the most influential people in the Nigerian Auto Industry according to the Nigeria Automotive Industry Awards 2017.
In 2016, in recognition of his contribution to the auto industry, he was nominated for the CEO of the year at the Nigeria Auto Journalist Awards (NAJA), Jetvan won the award for the New Entrant of the year. Oluwatobi is a Fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration. He was listed by Forbes as one of the most promising young entrepreneurs in Africa for 2018.
