
Mfon Udom is the MD/Chief Executive Officer of Ibom Air, and the highest ranking officer of the company and is responsible for leading and managing the business.
Mr. Udom started his aviation sojourn as a Commercial Pilot and Manager, more than 50 years ago. His career as an airline and corporate pilot saw him fly extensively across the globe on several aircraft types.
He was a founding Director and later Managing Director/CEO of Aviation Development Company Plc, operators of ADC Airlines, which became Nigeria’s top private airline in the late 1980s and through the 1990s. He later became the Regional Director for Africa, of London-based Aerospace Management Capital Limited, leading their Aircraft Leasing and Financing as well as Aviation Consulting business in Africa.
In 2005, he set up an Aviation Consulting firm, Aerospace Management Services (AMS) Nigeria Limited with registered offices in Lagos, Nigeria. AMS is the consulting firm that helped to establish Ibom Air.
Mr. Udom holds an M.Sc. degree in Air Transport Management from the City University, London, and is an alumnus of the Lagos Business School Chief Executives Program.
